“Fear is a liar.” |
1 Peter 5:8 (KJV). Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour[.]
Revelation 12:3 (KJV) And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon[.]
Revelation 20:2 (KJV) And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan[.]
John 8:44 (KJV) [Jesus speaking to the Pharisees, the unjust religious leaders of the day:] Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Pattern as prologue shows us that the fearful sight of the roaring lion sits upon the red mask, the archetype for our archenemy – El Diablo, the fork-tonged Slanderer, the Devil. Our Adversary shape-shifts from creature to creature, deceiving whom he may. Deception his cloak wandering to and fro above and below the world stage.
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades [transforms] as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14 (NIV)
In much the same way that we marvel at the silver screen retellings of the mighty-men of old as “new” superheroes. The world will gape at the Antichrist’s [Satan’s progeny] prowess. The forthtold future of Scripture sent the warning to remember the true stature of this creature, though he appear invincible, for a spell, his destiny is sure — eternal isolation, suffering, and pain fit for the malevolence of the demon king.
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? Revelation 13:4 (KJV)
They that see thee [Oh Lucifer,] shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms[?] Isaiah 14:16 (KJV)
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20:10 (KJV)
Fear is a weapon. |
Fight or flight is managed by your level of comfort accessed in situational awareness. And your level of comfort is directly measurable by the hope anchored in the hereafter. Hope trends with peace and surety that no matter the situation you can have confidence that “all things are working together for good, for those who love God, and are called according to his purpose.” That confidence is available now. And should be taken advantage of posthaste — for the time is short, no matter the perceived forecast. Oh that our countrymen had the faith of their predecessors! Today, the shackles of mere fear have halted the engines of prosperity! Countrymen! Pilgrims! Remember your past! Remember your future! Kneel! Pray! Repent! Repeat! Fear hath no place in your life! Fear hath no place in your destiny! Fear is a weapon!
Fear crashes markets. |
The reason the pandemic path to economic shutdown of the global economy worked, is due to the known behavior of the apex predator’s fear of the unknown. Fear of the unseen. Fear of a virus. Fear is a weapon and fear crashes markets. This is the science of the Power Elite — The Technocracy. The virus is real, the fear is real, and so is tyranny. All of this is cyclical. And so, though many are snared in flight, the few, don’t fear the fight. Though the markets fall, the fearless stand tall!
Markets are driven by fear. |
The careless (nothing to fear) spirit of yesteryear drove pop-culture down the road of prosperity. The price of gas and economic down turns slowed the engine here and there around the bend and over the hills of progress. Fear occasionally throttled the best and worst of times. The befuddled mass hummed along the wide road of consumption, while the few pondered the narrow path of production. And so, somewhere along the way, as the cycling road circled round, servicing usurped producing. Driverless cars led to mindless cruising down the dark road of despair.
You see, the roads were built to steer us down this path. The grid, the roads, the system, all built, designed to control. It’s a Science. And fear is the driver. And the more we fear the unknown, the more we cede liberty. The axiom of the spectrum of liberty and safety is inversely correlated. The more safety the less liberty. The greater the liberty, the less safety. Well said Mr. Franklin. And frankly, if we don’t remember the past, we will enter the doom of its mindless forgetful presence. Ever stuck in the dark enclosed safe space not unlike prison.
The journey is long, arduous, and dangerous, off the path of the mapped realm. Remember the high seas of the Atlantean voyagers, and the Wild Wild Westward migration. Steel your soul in the sure fearlessness of Christ’s anchor beyond the veil.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
Come sail away with me!
The future is our hope!
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
